Central section with formerly open-plan ground floor, built in 1546 for the Gesellschaft der Armbrustschützen (Crossbow Society). Right wing from 1729 used by Daniel Bernoulli (1700-82) for physical experiments. Today the University's Institut für Mikrobiologie und Hygiene (Institute for Microbiology and Hygiene).
