In 1986 the Paul Sacher Stiftung (Paul Sacher Foundation) moved into the house "Auf Burg" which had been converted by Katharina and Wilfrid Steib. The building contains the archive of valuable letters, books and music manuscripts brought together by Paul Sacher from the estates of composers. A particular highlight of the Foundation's collection is the estate of Igor Stravinsky, acquired by Paul Sacher in 1983.
