The exhibition concentrates on coaches and sleighs of the 19th and 20th centuries that belonged to Basel families. Hunting carriages, dog carts, phaetons, coupés and landaus attest to the excellent workmanship of Basels coachbuilders.

Mail coaches and commercial horse-drawn vehicles, childrens' coaches and sleighs as well as accessories such as harnesses and coachmens liveries are further attractions.
